This was a flight from July 2020. It is a great flight to do with lots of procedures in a short period of time. It certainly is a busy airspace in south-eastern Queensland. Highlights include the track to Archerfield then the spectacular leg passing Amberley controlled airspace, followed by the views of the Main Range National Park on track to Warwick. The escarpment and peaks of this National Park are dramatic from the air. With my instructor, Tom, we did some circuits at Warwick, instrument flying and a practice lost procedure near the Mount Barney National Park. Added to all that is the spectacular approach over Springbrook on return to Gold Coast.
